Background:

Michelle Bachmann was born in Iowa in 1956. She received a degree in tax law from the William and Mary School of Law, and then worked for the IRS. Bachmann, who also served in the Minessota state senate, has represented Minnesota's 6th congressional district in the US House of Representatives since 2007.

Pros:
